Acer Chromebook Tab 10, Chrome OS Tablet
The first tablet which run in Chrome OS, named the Chromebook Tab 10, was launched by Acer. The Acer will sell the Chromebook Tab 10 to the public but it is actually targeting the device at the education market.
The tablet will go on sale in April in North America. The tablet has been priced at $329 (in RS. 21300). Also it will go on sale in EMEA (Europe, the Middle East and Africa) from May this year. On March 27 the Apple has scheduled an event. Acer Chromebook Tab 10 launched to break down Apple iPad models. To rival Chromebooks, in this event Apple launched education-focused iPad models.

The tablet is powered by an OP1 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and it sports a 9.7-inch (2048×1536 pixels) display. The tablet comes with a Wacom EMR Stylus, which can be embedded in a slot and does not require charging.
For connectivity it provides, Wi-Fi, USB Type-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack, and Bluetooth v4.1.It is fuelled by a battery that claims to provide 9 hours of playtime. The Acer Chromebook Tab 10’s onboard storage is 32GB.
In camera option the tablet come with a 5-megapixel camera on the rear and a 2-megapixel camera on the front. Google claims in a blog post that, the rear camera in the tablet will soon get Google’s Expeditions AR for classroom learning. Google said, “Coming soon, teachers can take students on Google Expeditions to the Great Barrier Reef, the Colosseum, and even to the International Space Station—all from the screens of their Chrome devices.”
