THINGS YOU CAN DO WITH Google Classroom
There are so many things that you can do with Google Classroom, and the most important thing is, it is a completely free application, if you upgrade it to a pro version, then you will also pay nothing for it. When you set up your classroom through the above techniques, then you can do these things with Google Classroom, which are mentioned here:
A. Add announcements and lesson material: You can give your students some announcements with adding your lesson’s materials, thus your students can find your lessons very quickly. You can connect the Google Drive to your Google Classroom Lesson and then you can easily add materials, images, files, YouTube video or any others link to your announcements, from your computer.
B. Grade an assignment: You can check and grade assignments that your students have handed in, and there you will see room for feedback via a teacher comment and after that send the assignment back to your students.
C. Manage students: It totally depends on you that if you don’t want to give the ability to your students to share and comment then they can not do these, give only the teacher the ability to post and comment. If you want to know their comment or give chance to share you can manage permissions, giving students the ability to post and comment, only comment. Even individually you can e-mail your students.
D. Add assignments: You can also add an assignment to your course, this will notify your students when they have to make an assignment and it will appear in their Calendar and that works as the same way just like as an announcement. Here you get the option to add a due date.
THINGS YOU CAN NOT DO WITH Google Classroom
Here is a list which you can not do with Google Classroom, they are:
A. A chatbox: Though you can give comment on announcements and on assignment, there is no chat function. You can send an e-mail to your students for direct contact. You can enable other Google apps to take over that function.
