After entering into recovery mode iTunes will prompt you to either Restore or Update your iPhone and hit on Restore. Your device’s software would be downloaded by iTunes and if the download takes more than 15 minutes then your iPhone will automatically exit recovery mode. You need to repeat the above steps if it happens, and when the process completed set up your iPhone and set a new passcode.
