The iPhone SE 2 is in works and set to launch later this year. Apple may launch the iPhone SE 2 at WWDC 2018, suggested by a past report. But another report had revealed that the iPhone SE 2 may go official during Apple’s education event. A new report now reveals that Apple has seemingly delayed the launch of iPhone SE 2 due to some government policies and some other restrictions, and these reports prove that those previous reports were wrong. Several reports suggested that the device will come with updated specifications, and will sport the same design as the iPhone SE.
A new report about the iPhone SE now reveals that the phone will be a Made in India product. The report further reveals that the iPhone SE 2 launch has seemingly been delayed due to some issues with government policies. The upcoming iPhone SE 2 will be Made in India and will be completely assembled in the country just as the iPhone SE. A past report had suggested that the iPhone SE 2 will be manufactured in India by Wistron — the same company which started assembling the current generation iPhone SE in Bengaluru in 2017.

iPhone SE 2 will be powered by Apple’s A10 processor – which was last seen in the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus and come with 2GB of RAM and 32/128GB of internal storage. Expected that iPhone SE 2 is will come with the same 4-inch display which similar to the iPhone SE. It is also tipped that the iPhone SE 2 might come with a glass rear panel and support wireless charging.
A KGI analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo had claimed that the second generation iPhone SE will be a highly incremental update with just a specification bump and minimal design changes. The KGI analyst has also suggested in the past that, the iPhone SE will not come with FaceID, instead include TouchID and a single rear camera setup.
