The Samsung’s A series another flagship Galaxy A30 had launched. In India, it priced only Rs. 16,990 which is really cheap than other A series devices of Samsung. We have found so many similarities between A50 and A30, and of course, the prices of these two devices also differ which is a big reason for making Galaxy A50 (Rs. 19,990) more demandable.

We must say that the Galaxy A30 will deliver you good imagers, clear display, smart and beautiful design and looks, handfull storage, and great configuration.  The performance of A30 is good and fast for the Android 9.0 Pie operating system.

  • SCREEN AND BODY: The Samsung Galaxy A30 sports a Super AMOLED 6.4-inch FullHD+ display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixel and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The Galaxy A30 get the front glass and plastic body with Blue, White, and Black color options.  It supports IP68 ingress protection rating. The dimension of Samsung Galaxy A30 measured 158.5 x 74.7 x 7.7 mm.
  • PROCESSOR AND MEMORY: It powered by the Exynos 7885 Octa (14nm), octa-core processor (2×2.2 GHz Cortex-A73 & 6×1.6 GHz Cortex-A53) and Mail-G71 GPU. The device offers 3GB of RAM + 32GB storage / 4GB of RAM + 64GB storage. The storage expandable via microSD card up to 512GB.
  • OPERATING SYSTEM: The Samsung Galaxy A30 runs on Android 9.0 Pie, and Samsung One UI has placed on top.

A. DESIGN AND DISPLAY ANALYSIS: The Galaxy A30 got a very fine look because of its smart design, and we can say this Galaxy A30 looks as pretty as the Galaxy A50 looks. In viewing aspect both smartphones (Galaxy A50 and Galaxy A30) are really eye-soothing and attractive. Not only in looks, the Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A50 also feature so many similarities in others segment.  The dimension of Samsung Galaxy A30 measured 158.5 x 74.7 x 7.7 mm which match with  Samsung Galaxy A50, both smartphones got the Galaxy’s entire new Galaxy A plating on the plastic body that gives them pleasant colored view at back and reflections of lights. The A30 does not get the Coral color option, but it comes with other color options like as White, Blue, and  Black.

The notch of Galaxy A30 is similar to A50, and Buttons, controls of Galaxy A30 are placed similar place as we have seen in Galaxy A50. The Samsung Galaxy A30 sports 6.4-inch FullHD+ Super AMOLED display panel, same as Galaxy A50’s display panel. The display offers nice visual quality with perfect brightness, infinite blacks,  and Popping colors. The HDR10+ and fancy curved sides are missing in Galaxy A30.

B. CAMERA ANALYSIS: The Samsung Galaxy A30 supports the 16 MP (f/ 1.7) PDFA main rear camera wherein the Galaxy A50 we got the 25 MP main rear camera which is a big difference between Galaxy A50 and Galaxy A30. The A30 has the 5 MP (f/2.2) depth sensor (no ultra-wide support) camera and a fixed-focus 16 MP(f/2.2) selfie camera which delivered the Face Unlock feature.

C. BATTERY AND OTHER SPECIAL FEATURES ANALYSIS: The same 4,000 mAh battery included in the Samsung Galaxy A30 device and it also offers the same Samsung quick charge technology for fast charging the 4,000 mAh battery.

The Samsung Galaxy A30 has the rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and the IP68 rating which are also noticed in Samsung Galaxy A50. The Fingerprint scanner works good and it will perfectly find out your fingerprint very fast. The Galaxy A30 does not support any under-display fingerprint reader, this is a noticeable difference between Galaxy A30 and A50.

D. STORAGE AND PROCESSOR ANALYSIS: The handset powered by the Exynos 7885 Octa (14nm), octa-core processor (2×2.2 GHz Cortex-A73 & 6×1.6 GHz Cortex-A53) and Mail-G71 GPU, and we are feeling sad to inform you that the storage options and RAM’s power are reduced in A30 than A50. The Galaxy A30 offers only 3GB / 4GB of RAM and 32GB / 64GB of storage, but the good thing is it supports microSD card to expand storage options.
