About Videoder A Free YouTube Video Download App

The India-based company, Videoder, is an app which downloads videos from YouTube and gives the opportunity to its users to watch videos and music on offline mode. This is a free app. The app has over 40 million users and supports 1,000 different platforms, the Videoder said on their own website.

Recently it is known that it is able to offer its users to download music and videos from 1,000 different platforms, for Example, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.

YouTube offers its users something similar as above through YouTube Premium – formerly YouTube Red, where only paying customers are able to do it through its suite of official apps.

It offers a far broader functionality beyond simply downloading videos and music from YouTube and other content providers, for example, providing lists of trending videos and removing ads from video streams. “You can always know what’s trending when you are on Videoder,” the App published on their own website.

In recent months, interest in Videoder app has surged, more people are interested in the India-based company than bitcoin, with Google Trends this revealed. The Google-owned Videoder’s terms and service, make clear that using third-party apps to download content is not allowed. YouTube did not respond to a request for comment about Videoder’s popularity.

The terms of service state, “you agree not to access content for any reason other than your personal, non-commercial use… and solely for streaming.”

Streaming means a contemporaneous digital transmission of the material by YouTube via the Internet to a user operated Internet enabled the device in such a manner that the data is intended for real-time viewing and not intended to be downloaded (either permanently or temporarily), copied, stored, or redistributed by the user.”

The Videoder, on its own website, acknowledges that “the Videoder is not available on google play store because of certain google terms and conditions which prohibits Youtube downloading apps for copyright concern [sic].”
