Shift + Restart (Method One )Windows 10 Safe Mode

You can go safe mode when your windows are running, you have the option of the combine Shift key and restart click. For this press start key to go to Start Menu then tap on the power button press and hold Shift key and tap on restart.

You can also do this on Sign In screen, go to power logo placed on the right side down and press and hold the Shift and tap on restart.

This process lets the windows reboot and brings a ” Choose an option” menu the contains of this menu is ” Continue ” ” Troubleshoot ” ” Turn Off your PC” from this three choose ” Troubleshoot ” now select ” Advanced optionselectStartup Settings ” under Advanced option, now click on Restart.

 

It will restart the windows in an advanced option that include Safe Mode. To get in safe mode choose 4 to 6 option.

Press 4 or F4  for the only safe mode.

Press 5 or F5 for safe mode with network enabled.

Press 6 of F6 for safe mode with command prompt.


Recovery Boot Drive (Method Two )

Windows 10 has an option to create Recovery Drive to create a system recovery USB drive. Create a Recovery USB Drive (It is always a good option) then boot your Windows 10 device using it and load its content.

Now select the keyboard layout according to your choice there is a “see more keyboard layouts” option available for more layouts. After choosing you will see “Choose an option

menu under the menu contains are. “Continue” “Use another operating system” “Troubleshoot” “Turn off your PC“.

Now select “Troubleshoot> Advanced Option > Startup Settings > Restart

Windows Settings App (Method Three )

Another option to get in Safe Mode from running windows 10. Use recovery options in the windows settings app. Open settings (Windows + I) then select Update & security section.

Go to recovery placed on the left side. now click on Advanced Startup section and in below click on restart.

It will restart the windows in an advanced option that include Safe Mode. To get in safe mode choose 4 to 6 options.

Press 4 or F4  for the only safe mode.

Press 5 or F5 for safe mode with network enabled.

Press 6 of F6 for safe mode with command prompt.


Use Windows 10 Installation Setup USB or Disk (Method Four )

If you have Windows 10 setup DVD/USB in your hand you can use it to go to Safe Mode in Windows 10. For this Boot, you windows device from Windows 10 DVD/USB and wait until installation environment to load. NO select Language, Time & Currency Format & Keyboard then click on next now click on “Repair Your Computer” placed the bottom of the left side, Click Troubleshoot section. Now you can see some options under “Advanced Options” select Command Prompt.

In CMD type bcdedit /set {default} safeboot minimal and hit enter bottom.

Now CMD show the status The operation completed successfully.

Now close the CMD and click on Continue.

After this, your windows will automatically boot into Safe Mode.


Windows System Configuration Tool (Method Five )

You can easily go to Safe Mode using msconfig its a windows system configuration tool, Go to Run and type msconfig and hit enter or go to windows start search box and type msconfig.exe and hit enter.

Now it will System Configuration box go to Boot tab select the safe boot option you will find down below, and tap on OK.

Windows will say need a restart to do this effect, another side you have an option to exit without the restart but its not bring Safe Mode. After a restart, your windows device will automatically boot into safe mode.


Interrupt normal boot (Mode Method Six )

Continuous 3 times of normal boot failure can bring you windows advance startup settings.

Restart or Off the power (press the power key at least 4 seconds & press 1 time again) or if you have any idea to Interrupt like plug off & on do so 3 times, in next 4 times it will enter by default automatic repair mode. This mode is the gateway of Safe Mode.

At first, you will see “Preparing Automatic Repair” then Automatic Diagnosis of your pc, then comes Advanced Options button next you will see Troubleshoot button click on that.

Then repeat the same process Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > Startup Settings > Restart.

It will restart the windows in an advanced option that include Safe Mode. To get in safe mode choose 4 to 6 option.

Press 6 of F6 for safe mode with command prompt.


NOTE: In earlier Windows of Windows 8, you can able to press F8 or Shift+F8 just before Windows got loaded. It will open Advanced Boot Options Window from there you can log in to Safe Mode.

But the problem With Windows 8 & 10 is most of the times it does not working even you try multiple times correct commands supported by Windows 8 & 10.

The problem is actually not a problem, the very fast boot time of Windows 8 & 10 don’t make these comments execute. If your Latest Computer has a UEFI BIOS & SSD there is no time to give a Keypress commend. On older Computer with a Classic BIOS and HDD Keypress commend might be working.
